Hotter Pancakes combines a Hot Cake-inspired overdrive with a separate transparent boost and limiter section, giving you two complementary gain stages in one pedal.
The overdrive section covers everything from lighter breakup to fuller, more saturated drive, while the boost can add level, compression, and sustain independently or push the overdrive harder.
Overdrive Section
Volume — Sets the overall output level of the overdrive section.
Drive — Controls the amount of gain, from light crunch to more saturated overdrive.
Presence — Adjusts upper-frequency presence and clarity.
XLF — Adds low-frequency emphasis for fuller low-end response, particularly useful with bass or lower-tuned instruments.
Mode — Selects between two overdrive voicings with different gain and response characteristics.
Boost / Limiter Section
